On October 2, project “Scientific Environment” was launched at our University, within the framework of which it is planned to organize lectures by prominent scientists in the field of biomedical research. At the first meeting, our rector Sergey Lukyanov, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences lectured “How is the medicine created to day”, which was devoted to innovative developments in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis, a chronic systemic disease, often leading to disability.

We hope that the next metting “Scientific Environments” will attract the attention of future doctors, scientists, students and residents, and everyone who wants to keep abreast of the most significant discoveries in the field of modern medical knowledge.
