Free flu vaccination for students and staff of Pirogov University

On October 9, Pirogov University will launch its annual free flu vaccination campaign. Influenza is an acute viral infection that is dangerous not only for its severe course with high fever, intoxication, joint and muscle pain, but also for serious complications. With untimely treatment, the virus can lead to irreversible damage to the cardiovascular, respiratory, and central nervous systems.

The most vulnerable are children, pregnant women, and the elderly. Vaccination is the main and most effective means of prevention. It stimulates the production of antibodies that prevent infection and reproduction of the virus. Even in case of illness, a vaccinated person tolerates the flu much more easily and without the risk of severe complications such as pneumonia, myocarditis or meningoencephalitis.

Vaccination schedule at the University

Vaccination will be carried out by field teams of the territorial polyclinic of GBUZ "DCC No. 1" DZM.

Dates and times:

— 09.10.2025 from 13:00 to 16:00;

— 13.10.2025 from 13:00 to 16:00;

— 14.10.2025 from 09:00 to 12:00;

— 16.10.2025 from 14:00 to 16:00;

— 21.10.2025 from 08:30 to 11:30;

— 10/23/2025 from 12:00 to 16:00.

What you need to have with you:

— for citizens of the Russian Federation: passport and compulsory medical insurance policy;

— a passport is enough for foreign students.

Vaccination will be carried out with modern domestic vaccines (Flu-M, Ultrix Quadri, Sovigripp). After the procedure, a vaccination certificate is issued to all vaccinated persons.

Alternative vaccination sites

If necessary, you can also get vaccinated before December 2025 in other departments of GBUZ "DCC No. 1" DZM:

Branch No. 4 (former polyclinic No. 203) at the address: Akademika Bakuleva str., 18.

Important for international students: this is the only city polyclinic where they can get vaccinated for free upon presentation of a passport.

"Health Center" in the main building of GBUZ "Recreation Center No. 1" DZM at the address: Miklukho-Maklaya str., 29, building 2, offices 340, 344, 346.

Requirements: a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation and a Moscow compulsory medical insurance policy.

Opening hours: Mon-Fri: 08:00-18:30, Sat: 09:00-18:00, Sun: 09:00-16:00.

You can also contact the clinic at the place of attachment or mobile vaccination centers.

Please note that having a flu shot may be a prerequisite for admission to clinical facilities. In case of a complication of the epidemiological situation, unvaccinated students and staff may not be allowed to work in medical institutions.
