The forum's significance echoed the sector's current needs: enhancing infrastructure, embracing and applying breakthrough technologies, elevating specialist training, and upholding rigorous quality control in services.
In a plenary session themed "Export and International Cooperation," Irina Igorevna featured as a keynote speaker. She highlighted the "International Medical Internship at the Russian Ministry of Health's Leading Medical and Scientific Institutions" program facilitated by the Pirogov University. The focus was on specialized internships for international rehabilitators available at the Russian Ministry of Health's National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology.
The session also welcomed the President of the Malaysian Professional Association of Rehabilitation Physicians, an official from the Malaysian Ministry of Health, the Director of National Medical and Rehabilitation Services, the Vice-President of ISPO – the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics’ Indonesian chapter, and a member of the Indonesian Ministry of Health affiliated with ISPO.
Concluding the session, Yana Olegovna and Irina Igorevna conducted a meeting with Indonesian and Malaysian Health Ministry representatives to explore avenues for collaborative educational and scientific ventures.
The forum also featured the "Hope for Technology" national award ceremony, recognizing individuals for their exceptional contributions to rehabilitating methodologies and universal design. This reward, instituted by the Russian Federation's Ministry of Industry and Trade, has been celebrating industry pioneers annually since 2016.
