The Congress "Innovative Technologies in Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery" with international participation was held in Moscow from October 22 to 24. The organizers of the congress include our University. During the grand opening, the presentation of commemorative signs and personal prizes named after academician Yu.E. Veltishchev for his outstanding contribution to the development of domestic pediatrics. Among the awarded were employees of the Scientific Center of Pediatrics of our University Zinaida Zemlyantseva and Maria Shkolnikova.

The plenary session of the Congress began with a report: “Immune homeostasis and microbiota in newborns and young children” by our graduate, academician of the RAS, Alexander Rumyantsev. On the second day of the Congress, a large section was held to discuss issues of volunteering and mentoring in the field of healthcare.
