Vladislava Belyakova, Vice-rector for Youth Policy at Pirogov University, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech: "The value of volunteerism development lies in helping practical healthcare, career guidance for schoolchildren and students in practical medicine and helping them build a professional path, engage in social activism, develop patriotism through volunteer practices and assist in the formation of a medical community and mentoring.".
As part of the intensive program, participants developed new approaches to the development of medical volunteerism in the regions. Special attention was drawn to projects aimed at popularizing volunteerism. Standards for supporting volunteers and building effective cooperation with regional authorities were actively discussed.
According to the results of the work, all participants came to the conclusion that joint efforts of universities and regions are necessary to achieve maximum results.
The All—Russian University - Region 2025 Project Workshop has become an important step towards creating a strong and cohesive volunteer community, laying the foundation for further systematic work. After completing the program of meetings and project sessions at Pirogov University, the workshop participants went to the Senezh Management Workshop to participate in the All-Russian Forum of Medical Volunteers.
