Vladislava Belyakova, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy at Pirogov University, said that during the period of active transformation of the University, a strong team is needed more than ever. This is why a Corps of tutors has been created, who become guides to the world of professional development for students and help them choose the right trajectory for the future.
Alexander Ermolaev, Director of the Department of Student Development and Support at Pirogov University, emphasized that tutors are real "agents of change." They are at the forefront — they participate in the continuous improvement of the learning environment and help students integrate into university life.
To make this help as practical as possible, a special course "How to study effectively at Pirogov University" has been created for first-year students. These are not boring lectures, but live interaction with tutors. Together, they will analyze everything you need for effective study: from working with digital platforms and classic notes to time management and stress management.
Andrey Delnov, chairman of the Tutor Movement at Pirogov University, presented impressive results last year: 150 tutors held more than 30 meetings, organized a project school, and, most importantly, actively engaged in the development of new areas such as working with dormitories and interacting with teachers.
This proves that a tutor at Pirogov University is not just a status, but a real position with specific tasks and great responsibility. They are the most important link that ensures the continuity of traditions and the introduction of innovations, making the adaptation of first—year students smooth and their choice conscious.
