The course was created based on numerous requests from potential students — teachers of physics, medical physics, and biophysics at medical universities and medical faculties. The program is devoted to the physico-mathematical aspects of modern technologies in medicine, and the goal is to increase the effectiveness of teaching physico-mathematical and technical disciplines at the intersection of physics, medicine and biology.
The course is taught by associate professors and professors of the Department of Physics and Mathematics, as well as Professor of the Department of General and Medical Biophysics at the Institute of Biomedicine (MBF), Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Osipov. The topics of the classes are selected taking into account the most demanded physical methods that have found application in modern medicine. During the training, the course participants were invited to discuss a wide range of issues: from 3D modeling and the basics of bioprosthetics to photobiological processes and methods of radio spectroscopy.
The first students of the new cycle were teachers of the medical universities of Ryazan, Chelyabinsk and Volgograd. All participants noted the volume and interesting presentation of the material. "The competence of teachers, accessible presentation of materials, informative content of lectures. Everyone is interested in lectures!" one of the listeners shared his feedback.
We invite interested colleagues to new cycles!
