Representing the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia at the meeting were Rector, Doctor of Biological Sciences, and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergey Anatolyevich Lukyanov, and Vice-Rector for International Affairs Nadezhda Alexandrovna Bylova.

In her introductory remarks, Nadezhda Alexandrovna spoke about the history of the Pirogov University, the training programs offered, the functioning and capabilities of research and clinical centers, as well as the conditions for students from Vietnam and their achievements in academic and extracurricular activities.

Hoang Minh Son noted the shared interests of Russian and Vietnamese universities in training top-notch specialists for high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries.

The delegation members visited the multi-profile accreditation and simulation center at the N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University. The tour was conducted by the center's director Pavel Alexeevich Lopanchuk and his deputy, head of the methodical accreditation and simulation center, Candidate of Medical Sciences Alexander Vladimirovich Gushchin.

Colleagues from Vietnam were shown simulators on which students at Pirogov University practice and undergo accreditation. Specialists noted that all simulators were made in Russia. The technical equipment of the accreditation and simulation center at the N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University impressed the delegation members and sparked their keen interest in Russian technologies.
