The speaker was Konstantin Krupin, Associate Professor of the Department of Forensic Medicine named after P.A. Minakov of the IBHR. In his speech, he highlighted the key aspects of optical scanning:
— application in science and education;
— methodology and limitations of technology;
— development prospects, including the revolutionary impact of artificial intelligence on the processing and analysis of 3D models.
Of particular interest to the audience was the demonstration of advanced development — special software that allows you to work with 3D anatomical objects directly on your smartphone. This technology opens up new horizons for the training of future doctors.
The awarding ceremony for the winners of the 3D Morphology hackathon was a striking conclusion to the official part. Pavel Lopanchuk, Acting Director of the Lopukhin Institute of Anatomy and Morphology, congratulated the participants and invited the young scientists to further cooperation.
The event smoothly turned into a traditional informal part, where lively discussions on the topic of the seminar continued in a warm atmosphere, and participants actively shared ideas for new joint developments.
