Among the experts of the session are leading scientists and representatives of the Russian Science Foundation (RSF), including Andrey Blinov, the Foundation's Deputy Director General. The participants reviewed cases on improving the grant system, supporting young scientists, and interacting with businesses. Ideas have been proposed that can transform the scientific ecosystem, from digital platforms to mentoring programs.
It is especially pleasant that the winning team includes a representative of Pirogov University!
"Participation in the first strategic session of the Russian Science Foundation was a vivid and very productive experience for me. It was especially valuable to get acquainted with talented young scientists from different regions of Russia and immerse themselves in solving the problems of the session together. The project defense took place in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue: each project received detailed discussion and useful feedback. It was a bit unfortunate that the session came to an end, but our team is full of enthusiasm to continue discussions and meet at the Congress of Young Scientists!", said Olga Kudryashova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology.
The proposals of the teams will be passed on to the leadership of the Russian Science Foundation, which means that science in Russia has a chance to become even more open, technologically advanced and supportive of young talents.
