The Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU) cordially invites students, PhD students and young scientists (up to 35 years old) to take part in the 13th Moscow International Scientific-Practical Student Conference “Disease and Healthy Lifestyle”.
The Conference will be held on November 29, 2024 at the Institute of Clinical Psychology and Social Work, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (Moscow).
Conference languages: Russian, English.
The conference will be organized in offline format with the possibility of broadcasting reports in an online format.
The conference is dedicated to psychological and social aspects of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with various diseases, maladaptation and risks of health disorders.
The papers focused on the research of images of illness and health, depending on the form and severity of the disease, as well as depending on age, gender, and cultural differences, will be of particular interest. The studies related to investigation of personality in a situation of illness reveal the influence of cognitive, emotional, behavioral factors on the severity of the disease, as well as the effectiveness of treatment.
The aim of the conference is to exchange experience in carrying out prevention, diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation, taking into account various psychological and social factors that determine concepts about illness and health.
We invite students, PhD students, and young scientists of research centers, universities, as well as young practitioners interested in the psychological and social problems of disease and healthy lifestyle research.

CONFERENCE NOMINATIONS
In one section, it is allowed to determine five prizes in 3 nominations:
PAPERS SUBMISSION
Papers are to be submitted online.
Papers should include: summary, keywords, and main content of the study (relevance, aims and objectives, research methods, results, conclusions, and practical significance).
The titles of papers, names of authors, affiliations, keywords, and abstracts should be provided in two languages (Russian and English). The main content of the paper may be either in Russian or in English on the authors’ choice.
Conference participants should register on the conference website and submit their papers in accordance with the requirements of the electronic submission form.
In order to work with the online abstract submission system we recommend using web-browsers Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox with activated Cookies and JavaScript. When registering on the abstract submission site, it is mandatory to indicate the full name of the participant's organization without its status. The status of an organization is an abbreviation before the name of the organization and its affiliation to the department.
After filling in all the fields, you need to click the "Register" button, after which, an email containing a link to confirm registration will be sent to the email address specified by the participant within a few minutes.
When using English terms and abbreviations in the texts of abstracts, their translation or transcription in Russian should be indicated in parentheses. After submitting abstracts, the participant must regularly visit the personal account and check for the comments from the moderator of the section. The participant must fill in the fields for submitting abstracts according to the sections: introduction, research purpose, materials and methods, results, conclusions. The titles of the sections will be put down automatically, there is no need to duplicate them in the text. The total number of characters in the abstract (without the title and information about the authors and scientific supervisors) should be no less than 500 and no more than 3000 characters without spaces. Tables or figures are not allowed in the papers.
It is not allowed to include in the text tables and pictures, as well as a list of references. References to literature should be made in the text in parentheses, for example (Ivanov, 2017).
The deadline for submitting abstracts is November 10, 2024 until 24:00.
Scientific papers submitted in accordance with all the requirements for the design and presentation of the text will be placed in the RSCI database.
Originality of the text of the papers must be at least 85%.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Poster presentations should be provided electronically in jpg or pdf format and have a size of A2 or 59x42 cm. Orientation is to be HORIZONTAL.
The size is set in the page parameters.
Title of the poster presentation: Times New Roman font, size: minimum — 70, maximum — 72 size, bold, all letters are uppercase.
Authors' full names: Times New Roman font, size 48, bold, initials are indicated after the surname.
Full title of the organization, Times New Roman font, size 48, bold.
If the authors of the report study or work in different institutions, a footnote must be placed to the right of the author's surname (the number 1, 2, ..., highlight and mark as "superscript" in the "Format/Font" tab at the top of the document).
The text of the poster presentation should be typed in Times New Roman font with a size of at least 20 pins (but not more than 24).
Graphs, diagrams, photographs should be printed in color, with a good resolution (300 dpi), of the size at least 10 cm wide.
The optimal ratio of text and illustrations: for 3-4 conditional pictures — 5-6 conditional parts of the text.

Posters presented in accordance with the requirements, will be posted on the BIZOZH conference website in the tab of the corresponding section and will be available for the jury and anyone interested.
In the framework of the conference a number of workshops will take place, the list of which will be presented in the conference program along with conditions of participation (after November 10, 2024).
