Students who study this program, in addition to general subjects of the medical education (Latin, anatomy and histology, physiology, general pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, etc.), conduct in-depth study of general and medical biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, genetics and bioinformatics, as well as advanced mathematics, physics, organic, inorganic and physical chemistry and general biology. In addition, special courses have been developed for students in a number of clinical disciplines (internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, neurology, etc.).
Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University has accumulated vast experience in training specialists in the field of medical biochemistry. Many of our graduates work in the leading biomedical laboratories of Russia, Europe and the USA, teach at the best universities of the world.
