Educational program “Practical medicine” is created in accordance with the requirements of domestic and foreign customers of educational services and the competitive international market of medical educational services.

Pirogov University promotes the participation of students and teaching staff in the international process of knowledge exchange, practices of medical services and results of research activities, which gives a student wide-ranging experience and facilitates his/her further adaptation in the medical environment in any country of the world.
The graduate who mastered this educational program and successfully passed the state final attestation is given the qualification of medical doctor in the specialty 31.05.01 General Medicine and is issued a diploma of state sample.
Students who have a diploma of secondary general or secondary vocational education are admitted to study at the specialty. Admission is based on the results of the Unified State Examination (entrance tests are conducted by Pirogov University for certain categories of applicants).

For English-speaking applicants the educational program is realized with the use of English as an intermediary.
Applicants who are enrolled in the first year of program can participate in the competition for education on the international program (double diploma) with the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino (Republic of Uzbekistan). Study on the international program is conducted in English.
