Program Description

The main goal of the educational program “Psychological Safety” is to develop psychological readiness among employees of institutions for performing their professional duties, ensuring psychological well-being, and maintaining mental health of the population.

The curriculum includes studying psychological aspects of professional activity in various fields, including organizational culture, personnel management, optimization of work processes, and improving labor efficiency.

Upon completing this program, further educational trajectory may continue through postgraduate studies in areas such as: 5.3.1 General Psychology, Personality Psychology, History of Psychology; 5.3.6 Medical Psychology; 5.12.1 Interdisciplinary Studies of Cognitive Processes; 5.12.2 Interdisciplinary Brain Studies.

A graduate who has successfully completed this educational program and passed the final state certification will receive the qualification of “psychologist” in the field of study 37.05.02 Psychology of Service Activity, specialization — Psychological Safety.

Additionally, graduates have an opportunity to pursue training in the continuing professional development program “Clinical Psychology” and after accreditation they are eligible to work as medical psychologists in healthcare facilities.

Entrance Examinations

Entrance exams based on secondary general education and higher education:

  • Biology
  • Social studies / Mathematics (profile level)
  • Russian language

Entrance exams based on secondary vocational education:

  • Medical biology
  • Social science (man and society) in medicine / mathematics in medicine
  • Russian language

Career Prospects

Graduates of the specialty program “Psychology of Service Activity” upon completion of studies can be employed by such organizations as the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Moscow City Department of Labor and Social Protection, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Federal Security Service, Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation, Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, etc. A service psychologist provides psychological support to military personnel, operational staff of law enforcement agencies and emergency services, helping them cope with acute and chronic emotional states.
