The duration of the training cycles in "Faculty Surgery" is 2 weeks in the fall semester and 1 week in the spring semester.
The duration of the training cycles on the topic "Algorithms for the diagnosis of surgical diseases" is 1 week.
Classes are held in the surgical hospital of the Central Clinical Hospital of St. Alexis (1st building). In each group, teaching is conducted by an assistant, associate professor or professor throughout the entire training cycle.

Classes: from 08:30 to 14:20.

  • The students' school day is built in accordance with the plan drawn up by the educational part of the department.
  • From 09:00 to 10:00, students conduct supervision of patients with a case study, as well as supervision and microcuration of patients on the topic of the seminar.
  • Every day from 10:00 to 12:00, students attend lectures that are given by professors of the department.
  • From 12:00 to 12:30 - a break.
  • From 12:30 to 13:20, students participate in the round-trip and clinical analysis of patients on the topic of a theoretical seminar.
  • A seminar is held from 13:20 to 14:20 to discuss the main issues on the topic.
  • From 14:20 to 14:50 - control of mastering the topic of a practical lesson.

Lectures are given in the conference hall of the CDC TsKB MP (2nd building) from 10.00 to 12.00.
Final control: on the last day of the training cycle.
Missed classes and lectures must be completed in accordance with the timeline.
