The first-year students are studying at the department, mastering the programs of the specialty "General Medicine", "Pediatrics", "Dentistry", and first-year and second-year students studying under the program of the specialty "Pharmacy".

Training laboratories are equipped with following laboratory equipment: audiometers, microscopes, electrocardiographs, UHF-therapy devices, polarimeters, gas lasers, photoelectrocolorimeters, electronic oscilloscopes, generators, electrical measuring instruments.

For lecture demonstrations to all lectures, the course uses multimedia consoles, personal computers.
