ACADEMIC COUNCIL

The Academic Council is an elected representative body responsible for the overall management of the University. The composition, powers, procedure for election of members of the Council and its activities are regulated by the Charter of the University.

Academic Council includes deans of the faculty, heads of departments, teachers, students.

The activities of the Academic Council is based on the principles of transparency and provides an opportunity for a broad public discussion and collective solutions to pressing problems of the University and its development prospects.

The Academic Council is authorized to take into consideration any issue referred to its competence by the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Charter of the University, and monitors the implementation of its decisions.

Decisions of the Academic Council are binding on the staff and students of the University.
